The Mysterious Craft The "profession" of carpet weaving was created by the nomadic peoples, so the materials and tools used for weaving were simple. Most of the rugs were made of wool that had been trampled from the sheep's own sheep, washed in the stream and dried in the sun.
The raw material is a clean, washed kilim carpet with slight discoloration . The contours of the patterns are not sharp, so these decorative cushion give a pleasant shabby shic effect. I love these nomadic natural colors and geometric designs in this vintage wool kilim pillow !
This handwoven kilim originates from Middle East. Each of my kilim pillow cover is cut from an old carpet/kilim and each one is unique.
